(Adapted from NAPHN) We are proud to announce that Passive House Western Pennsylvania (PHWPA) has become the newest member of the North American Passive House Network (NAPHN), now consisting of a total of eight regional groups including NYPH. PHWPA is anchored in Pittsburgh, a city pushing to be a sustainability trendsetter. PHWPA is led by globally recognized Passive House advocates like Brandon Nicholson of NK Architects, and Laura Nettleton and Michael Whartnaby of Thoughtful Balance, as well as many more committed Passive House enthusiasts. Part of the PHWPA success is built on a growing relationship with the Green Building Alliance located in Pittsburgh, one of the earliest US Green Building Council (USGBC) chapters in America. We look forward to growing the relationships and increasing numbers of Passive House consultants and projects across the Western Pennsylvania region and beyond. Welcome to the family, PHWPA!
