NYSERDA’s Request for Proposals (RFP) for RetrofitNY is now live! The RFP seeks retrofit solutions for affordable housing units in New York reaching or approaching net-zero energy performance. The RFP was released as of February 6, 2018, and NYSERDA is now accepting applications.
Revolutionizing Building Renovations in New York
RetrofitNY is spearheading the creation of a dynamic new industry that will deliver standardized, scalable solutions to dramatically improve the energy performance, aesthetic, and comfort of multifamily residential buildings. We are looking for solution provider teams to design high-performance retrofit solutions, as well as building owners with eligible affordable housing buildings.
RFP Timeline & Details
Applications for solution provider teams and building owners will be submitted separately. NYSERDA has assembled separate scoring committees that will periodically review and qualify solution provider and building owner applications.
Qualified solution provider teams and building owners will then pair up to submit Joint Project Applications to NYSERDA. Contracts will be awarded to qualified provider/building pairs on a first come, first served basis, until six contracts are awarded.
