While the adoption of the Passive House standard across Canada and the United States has not been easy, its uptake is beginning to accelerate. In the below policy guide developed by the North American Passive House Network (NAPHN) find insights on how some city’s including Vancouver and New York City have applied to green building standards.

What the NAPHN found was that markets with a higher degree of Passive House penetration, directly aligned with locations where policymakers and practitioners were actively cooperating and collaborating.
