Gotham Green Awards 2020
Gotham Green® annually recognizes those who make a difference in our communities and the world by celebrating people and organizations, both Gotham members and non-Gotham members, who work in ways big and small; for-profit and not-for-profit, to make our world a little greener. Gotham Green® provides a platform for businesses and professionals who seek to connect and promote sustainable business opportunities, practices and relationships.
I am honored to be part of recognizing GREEN efforts, by amazing people in 2020. An unexpected introduction and nomination of a sustainable non-profit in the City of Brotherly Love. The introduction and nomination was presented by our lovely GC,
Ms. Samantha Miller. Without Samantha and Gotham’s award, I never would have met Kaisha, nor would I have recognized the beauty she contributes to our city. She is beautifying Philadelphia and I will think of her and UC GREEN, every time I see a tree along the street in West Philadelphia and South West Philadelphia.

Gotham Green Awards® recognize three categories:
- Green Business or Green Initiative – For businesses whose core message and products are green in concept and/or sustainable.
- Green product, program or building – For businesses that have produced, planned or created a singular item that is green and sustainable.
- Green/Sustainable non-profit organization – For non-profit organizations that focus on or have created a program or product that they believe contributes to the global sustainability effort.
