New Canaan construction firm is looking for a well-rounded Site Supervisor/Project Manager. Minimum 5 years hands-on trade field experience in construction, and minimum of 10 year management experience. Detail oriented and strong organization skills a must. An interest in and understanding of green building practices and passive house building is a plus.
Must work well with clients and subcontractors. A strong knowledge base with mechanicals and electricals to understand good craftsmanship and/or problematic areas required. Must not be afraid to do some hands on work when necessary. Efficient and fast paced with a strong focus on quality a must.
Experience in estimating a must, preferably with on screen take-off. Some drawing capability is a plus (i.e. preparing a shop drawing for construction components). Proficient in excel, MS project a plus. This will be a full time commitment.
