Passive House: NYC’s Optimum Tool for Meeting Local Law 97 Requirements and Complying with Our Aggressive Energy Codes
From small-scale low-rise to large-scale high-rise buildings, from new construction to retrofit, Passive House buildings are becoming the standard in NYC to help us meet our carbon reduction goals and provide durable and resilient structures that contribute to the health and well-being of all New Yorkers. New York Passive House is excited to have you join this mini-panel program, which will include short presentations from Sara Bayer (Magnusson Architects and Planning), Adina Banayan (Promont), and Amy Failla (Ingui Architects), who will give us insight into the Passive House standard via their work in NYC. Todd Kimmel (ROCKWOOL), will then moderate a dynamic Q/A with these industry leaders to help us learn more about the standard and how to adopt these principles for future projects.
