François Cordier is a maker and inventor with a lifelong passion for construction. With a degree in timber engineering and experience as a partner at a leading Passive House architecture firm in Paris, François founded LEKO with the mission to accelerate the global transition towards sustainable construction.François led multiple funding rounds and assembled an international team of enthusiastic innovators, all dedicated to advancing groundbreaking technology. Under his leadership, LEKO developed a patented carbon-negative building system designed to replace up to 75% of traditional concrete and steel in superstructures, significantly reducing environmental impact.François has successfully guided LEKO through numerous challenges and continues to forge partnerships with major European contractors and developers. This collaboration allows them to deliver affordable, sustainable, and high-quality buildings at a pace far exceeding what was previously achievable, on course to make a lasting impact on communities and the future of construction.
