David Levine

David Levine is a hands-on architect. He has a strong appreciation of materials and techniques, skills that inform his restoration and renovation work. He has worked on renovation and new construction projects ranging from historic quality buildings and new academic environments to high performance, environmentally sustainable, and resilient buildings. David co-chairs the firm’s Sustainable Practice Group and was one of the firm’s first architects to achieve his certification as a Certified Passive House Consultant. He believes that architecture improves the urban fabric through the addition of well-designed, beautiful, functional, and sustainable buildings.

David joined Dattner Architects in 2007 and holds an M.Arch from Yale University and a BS in Studio Art from Skidmore College.
